Formerly known as <\/span>Preludes<\/strong>, the Greensboro Symphony\u2019s pre-concert talks are returning… with a twist! Now with the name <\/span>Musicology Mixology<\/strong>, guest speakers will share insights into Masterworks programs and will be \u00a0joined by Music Director Dmitry Sitkovetsky and guest artists. The presentations will be held in the Koury Room within the Tanger Center. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with the lecture component beginning at 7:00 p.m., prior to the 8:00 p.m. concert. There will be a specialty cocktail available for purchase for each concert tied to the concert program, and audience members can enjoy the concert even more by learning unique details about the works to be performed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Current and past guest speakers for Preludes include Dr. David Nelson, Dr. Gregory Carroll, Dr. Joan Titus and Dr. Lorena Guillen from UNC-Greensboro, and Dr. Wendy Looker from Guilford College.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
