CaringSound

CaringSound: A Community Partnership of the Greensboro Symphony and The Women’s and Children’s Center of The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. This exciting program provides weekly visits by Symphony musicians to Cone Health’s pediatrics unit. Music is played for patients, creating opportunities for expression and socialization, while providing relief for stressed and concerned family members.

Additionally, CaringSound features performances in retirement communities and hospitals by the Greensboro Symphony Woodwind, Brass, String, and Percussion ensembles. Concerts take place in the Spring and offer audience members the opportunity to meet musicians and ask questions.

Music Therapy at the Juvenile Detention Center
