Middle School
Music in the Middle is the title of the Greensboro Symphony’s annual performance series for seventh-grade students in Guilford County. Serving over 6,000 students, this program combines traditional and contemporary music for orchestra and multimedia components.
Each season’s concerts feature new program concepts, including, storytelling, history, dance, and technology. For all school concert programs, the symphony provides materials to help students and teachers to prepare for the concerts.
The Greensboro Symphony is pleased to be collaborating with the Guilford County Schools on many programs including new initiatives in arts integration as well as the U.S. Department of Education’s Assistance for Arts Education Development and Dissemination (AAEDD) program.
