This performance is expected to last approximately two hours with one twenty-minute intermission. Refreshments and restrooms are located in the orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony-level lobbies.
Cirque de la Symphonie returns set to the soundtrack of Broadway’s most memorable show tunes. Prepare to be dazzled as the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra is joined on stage by aerialists, acrobats, and Broadway singers, accomplishing astonishing feats of grace, beauty, and power! Featuring songs from Wicked, Chicago, Cats, West Side Story and more!
Cirque de la Symphonie is designed to bring the magic of cirque to you. It is an elegant fusion of cirque and orchestra, adapting the stunning performances of cirque artists with the majesty of the full symphony orchestra. This program showcases many of the best cirque artists in the world, thrilling the audience with aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen. These are some of the most accomplished veterans of exceptional cirque programs and include world record holders, gold-medal winners, Olympians, and some of the most original talent ever seen.
Something magical happens when these Cirque veterans take the stage in front of the orchestra. Audiences will be mesmerized by an aerialist flying out over their heads, performing acrobatics on silk fabrics. Children are amazed at the wizardry of juggling feats and magic acts. The strength and flexibility of the strongmen and contortionists will leave you astounded!

VIP Parking, purchasable with a series subscription, is available in the large surface lot directly behind the Tanger Center with access from Lindsay Street. The Bellemeade Street parking deck, accessed from Elm Street or Greene Street, is the nearest city deck; Church Street and Davie Street decks are other nearby options. Street parking is also available, free after 6pm.
